The intravenous detox technique

Heavy metals, essentially mercury, lead, aluminum, arsenic and cadmium, are metallic compounds brought in by air, water and soil pollution, presenting a chronic toxicity responsible for serious pathologies, with a tendency to accumulate without being eliminated by the body.

Intravenous detox is the most effective way of eliminating heavy metals from the body.

How chelation works

Chelation therapy is a medical procedure that involves the intravenous injection of chelating agents. Once in the body, chelators bind to heavy metals, forming water-soluble chemical complexes. This transformation makes it easier for your body to eliminate these toxic substances via the urinary tract.

Intravenous detox is the preferred technique for eliminating heavy metals, as the body is unable to eliminate them spontaneously. Treatment is painless and generally lasts between 2 and 4 hours.

Who is chelation detox intended for?

Industrial and transportation-related pollution is the main cause of heavy metal poisoning in the body. People living in the megacities of developing countries are particularly exposed to this problem. Unhealthy lifestyle habits (smoking or cannabis use) or regular use of medications, such as certain dental amalgams, are aggravating factors.

How chelation detox works

The process begins with a consultation with the doctor in charge of treatment, who will take a medical history. This will establish a screening of your exposure to toxic agents.

A bio-checkup including a multitude of blood and urine tests is performed to look for abnormal elements, related to toxic exposure or other medical causes.

The same day or the following day, your physician places an intravenous catheter in the forearm or elbow and connects the first infusion containing the chelating agents, which will take between 30 and 35 minutes to administer. This is followed by a second infusion containing other chelating substances, for the same duration.

Once the infusions have been completed, the catheter is removed, and you will rest for one hour. Finally, urine is collected and sent to the laboratory for heavy metal analysis.

Results are returned as soon as the urine tests are received, after one week.

The results

The quantity of heavy metals eliminated is around 80% of the total quantity present in the body. Following treatment, you will be prescribed vitamin and mineral supplements to compensate for the losses caused by detoxification.

In the event of repeated environmental exposure to an identical risk, it is recommended to repeat the treatment every 18 months.
