Who is HALO for?
HALO laser treatment is intended for women and men of all skin types, aged 18 and over, and who notice sun-related skin damage on their face, neck, décolleté and hands (mainly brown spots) and other imperfections linked to the passage of time (redness, age spots, dilated pores, dull complexion, fine lines and wrinkles) or scars.

The laser’s parameter settings allow you to define the intensity of the treatment, depending on whether you want a more spectacular result or minimal social exclusion.
The result obtained will depend, among other things, on the treatment modalities agreed with your doctor during the initial consultation. Usually, a more invasive treatment will give better results, but at the cost of a longer social exclusion, and vice versa.

Procedure for a HALO fractional laser session
A precise skin assessment will be established with your doctor during the first consultation, and a suitable procedure will be chosen according to your objectives.
Details of the procedure
We recommend that you avoid exposure to the sun for one month prior to the treatment.
A topical anesthetic is applied to your skin one hour before the treatment to make it comfortable. In addition to the topical anesthetic, cooling technology enhances treatment comfort. Patients generally describe a sensation of warmth with occasional tingling at the end of treatment.
HALO precisely measures the area to be treated, guaranteeing uniform treatment of the entire skin surface.
Aftermath
After treatment, you may feel a sensation of warmth for 15 to 30 minutes, or a little longer if the treatment is deeper. Some blushing is likely after the session. This usually dissipates within a few hours. It is also common to have to deal with a feeling of sunburn with transient edema (swelling). Fine scabs will appear the day after the treatment, disappearing in 8 to 10 days. The skin is thus renewed and results continue to improve for about 2 months.
Your doctor will give you instructions on how to care for your skin during the recovery period.
Avoidance of the sun is imperative on the treated areas (cream index ip50+) for at least one month and sources of strong heat (sun, baths, saunas, hammams) are to be avoided for two months.
